Unfortunately Deluca's skill let him down badly. If I had to make a call he may not survive the cull, purely on his skill level. Maybe another "mugul".
In the opening seconds of the game Freo got clear from the bounce , he got the ball at the edge of the square and then inexplicably handballed straight to a group of Hawk's player , who then proceeded to set up their first score. So instead of us going fwd it went the other way. Not sure what he was possibly thinking , maybe just a lookaway handball that killed our first forward entry.
He is tough enough but the skill level is no there.
