Even the Priddis-ey=ey 50 was technical - technically right and technically wrong. Priddis had stepped a metre off his mark to handpass to a receiver, but didn't. Lachie encroached knowing Best-in-show had played on, but the umpire hadn't called it, so a 50 was given. If it had been the other way around, the milliseconds given to Mundy and Darcy to clear a contest, we would have received a 'play-on' call. Technically right, and technically wrong. A more reasonable outcome could have been simply "go back and take your kick', or even a belated 'play-on' call.
Yes, there were at least a half-dozen out on full kicks given. I don't believe we had as many - two or three. Irrespective we did win the free kick count, 13 - 9 thereabouts. Hardly a Toilet endorsing 52 frees in seven days outcome delivered by the same three umpires H&A, but, nyah...
