....who has been our best indigenous Docker??
I wish I'd thought of this question during the recent NAIDOC week, but ROTV has posted some great footage of Winnie at his best. And, it got me thinking.
We've had some absolutely brilliant indigenous Docker footballers ... they've had us in awe of their brilliance, they've had us excited, they've had us on the edge of our seats. Personally, I am continually amazed at their skills, and I reckon they have all been 'great'.
But who has been our "best"?
Now, the measure of this can be done in different ways...is it the most brilliance?, is it consistency, is it longevity?, ...is it overall contribution.?? And its hard to split all contenders on those measures.
I would argue the current team has some of the 'best' at the moment, and if its not Mikey, then its Steven, )(or maybe it will be Bradley?), and Johnno would not be out of place putting his hand up. But one only has to look at the footage of Winnie, and you can't forget the sheer brilliance of The Wiz, the Majesty of the Prince of Pockets, the courage of Troy Cook, the greatness of Dale Kickett...and, well, the overall consistency of the brilliant Roger Hayden.
Our 'indigenous team' would be some great sort of team, I reckon
So I ask the question, who has been "The Best"?? (... and for what its worth, I'm putting a vote in for Roger).
