Did he win mark or goal of the year for any of those?

would like to have seen the one that beat the mark in # 2.....that'd have been some mark. Could only have been Sean Smiths in my mind...

That one at Manuka was 1998 Mark of the Year. Awesome grab.

Here's some more vintage stuff to stir up some nostalgia.

Anyone know why we let him go? He had that ridiculous leg break where a kid jumped on him while he was watching TV, but don't think that was the end. He was part of what made the early years fun and losing him really sucked, especially when he started playing well for North. Kickett, Chisholm briefly, Craig Burrows, Ben Allan, O'Reilly, Gary D, Wills, Phil Gilbert (just kidding) were others who made the early years. Winston was all about the WACA.

Yes we let him go so we could bring Stuart Anderson onto our list. Anderson was a mercurial talent, could kick both feet - 60 metres, stand on blokes heads, walk around opponents.

Remember him? Me neither.

My understanding was that Neesham thought it would be in Abraham's best interests to be in Melbourne.

My understanding is we were drunk when we agreed to that deal.

A footballing mate of mine told me the story of Stuart Anderson hiding behind trees at training (early days remember- we trained anywhere) because he was effectively incapable of interacting with team mates. Anyone can corroborate that? If so, can't say we did a lot of due diligence on that.

Havent heard that blocker but wouldnt surprise me.
I know North were extremely happy to get rid of him for good compensation.
Every premiership team has bit part players and he really did nothing at Freo..lucky to be in out best 22 for memory
