I like RR's idea of Pavlich medal for Freo's best, and Slappovich for their best.

Then during the presentation ceremony, a large ring is set up, the 2 medal winners team up with Pav or Slappo, don their tights and have a bout of WWF (or UFC) with the winners being awarded the Cometti medal.

It has to be a hyphenated name surely. I'm forced to share a state with those bozos, I don't want to share anything else.

If it can't be called the "Let's burn down the Eagle's club grounds and salt the earth" medal..

Call it the Worsfold-Pavlich medal when it's a West Coast home game, and the Pavlich-Worsfold medal when we play at home.

This takes into account the future glory of Pav when he returns as Fremantle coach and guides us through our golden age, as well as when his future Brownlow-winning sons become All-Australians playing simultaneously in all the positions their dad did.

Indeed DJKL, that's actually what made me think of him. Herr Niedermeyer was quite an influence.

I don't know quite what Malaxos did to deserve being simultaneously Eagles captain and a government high school visiting greco-roman wrestling coach. But somehow it happened.
