Hypen I agree with you Roly made up his mind about Silvagni well before his indiscretion. I reckon it was in that final in Adelaide, I think Pharlap got injured and Scos got his run under Roly and was towelled up a bit by Tex.
I vividly remember Tex take a mark right in front of me and then nail the shot from the boundary and Alex was toast right there and then. He was underdone and the rest of us loved him because we`d seen him slaughter Buddy a few times before Rosco rolled up but Roly didnt know a thing about him.
Such a shame, badly timed form slumps, injuries and indiscretions have basically foiled a potentially much more fulfilling career.
