TOPIC: changes?

Eventually
Give Gray a rest, that shoulder needs healing. Bring back Balic and Mundy for Sheridan. Not convinced on Kersten would drop him for Taberner no hesitation. And how you fit Spurr and Langdon in I've no idea but I'd expect Spurr to be back as soon as he's fit

If Mundy is well, he's in. Drop Ballas, sorely out of form, and continuing to do things that may lead to a free kick reversal or even a report (like decking a North player after he's disposed of the ball).
Keep Nyhuis.
Bring Taberner in for Kersten.
Any other thoughts?

Hamling will be out for a few weeks with his hip, he could barely walk off the ball and it's an absolute testament to his dedication to us that he kept willing himself to the contest, was instrumental in setting up our second last goal by tapping it down to Nyhuis in the marking contest. If Kennedy doesn't play I don't think we'll replace him with a tall, Logue on Darling and MJ on their resting ruck/forward (looks like Vardy if Pietri gets rubbed out)

Ballas stays. He plays on the edge his whole career and that's what we love about him. Imagine running down half back about to kick the ball and you see him in the corner of your eye. You know you'll have some bruises on Monday morning

The good thing is we are starting to see some strong competition for spots in the 22.
Player definitely in: Mundy
Players who could come in : Tabs, Balic, Sutcliffe, Collins, Langdon, Deluca, Dawson
Player definitely out due to injury: Sheridan
Players probably out due to injury: Hamling, Grey
Players walking the fine line of form: Kersten, Ballas
Mundy for Sheridan is the obvious one.
I think Tabs for Kersten. Collins or Dawson for Hamling. Balic or Sutcliffe for Grey.
Who is in or out will also depend on WCE injuries and perceived likely changes.

We don't agree often enough Jezza but we do this time! If Harley is fit enough for Peel, he's fit enough to sit in a forward pocket and on the bench in the big leagues.
Nathan: When did you get balls?
Simon: I've always had balls you've just never seen them.
Nathan: That's the gayest thing I've ever heard.

Corporal Agarn
Undisputed talent Biz & Jez, but don't think it sends a great message to players battling away for a position if he's a walk up start after nearly two years out of the game.

Someone mentioned earlier that Darcy needs help before he hits a brick wall...

I really would not want to be a brick wall at this time

Keep him playing! Hes man enough for the job.
Reckon he was pacing himself last week, and it was a bloody big job going against one of the most experienced and best ruckman.
He might have even been saving himself for 'one helluva game' in the Derby
I get the feeling, even if hes sore, hes not gonna tell anyone. Hes just gonna keep on pushing blokes out of the way....

...Would like to see him start him taking some of those kick in marks though ..but hey...he's only just 19 and he's been far, far better than anyone could have dreamnt of.

Eventually
If the coaches are fair dinkum about winning this derby then a straight swap of Taberner for Kersten is compulsory. Mundy for Sheridan is obvious but can we play all 3 of Ballas, Crozier and Gray? None of them get the ball much and all play similiar games if Gray is fit I would drop Crozier for Balic keeping Ballas and Gray. The final change would be to get Langdon back in for the promising but not there yet Tucker.
That would be a Derby winning team in my books!
