What a load of crap, all he was doing was dobbing Macca. Freo players wore it all day, he wasn't concerned about the neck of Walters or Balla's, or the eyes of Suban, or the fact that Balla's was attacked on the ground by a dog that should be condemned by the footy media.

What happened to Neale around the time Macca was trying to cripple that sook? My sister who was at the game said he was very groggy and came off, but I don't recall the CH sucks commentators mentioning it?

So, which bit would you challenge? Hard to argue the high impact.

You could argue McCarthy wasn't careless, but given Gilbert has released the ball before Cam laid the tackle, I reckon that's a tough sell.

Again Morgan, the decision in isolation is fine, but where is the consistency? Walters was hit with a forearm to the head on 5 or 6 occasions yesterday, and at least 2 of them were after he disposed of the ball. Because he doesn't stay down and sook for the free and 50 no-one cares, and because RoLy doesn't come out in the media and say he fears for his safety out there, the MRP dodges that bullet.

What will you say next week when Ballas gives someone a whack in the guts and gets 2 weeks. You will say he deserved 2 weeks because you cant do that, as you have in the past. What is your comment on Steven getting off? Again insufficient force, because Balla's is not a sook.

My view is reasonably consistent: players should only get suspended if they are repeat offenders, or their actions have a real capacity to injure.

Sadly for Cam, his tackle was dangerous.

If Ballas whacks a bloke it would be hard to argue he doesn't have form. I'd tend to let him off most of the time because he's more on the annoying side than dangerous.

Typical. Here's a coach saying that they'll weigh up an appeal. You get the impression that it's unlikely but at least he's out there saying something!!!

What will we hear from Fremantle? I'm guessing crickets as per usual.
