I am waiting for the uproar over what Carlisle did to Balla's a la the moral outrage that flooded through the media when the Lions players give Reiwoldt a touch up a few years ago. When Ballas going back for kick, 50 metres awarded, Grey pushes into the back of Saints player & he falls over.
Maggots would've been waiting for something like this to happen so he could reverse it.
If the umpires were serious about the free kick and 50 penalty, it should've & could've been instigated quickly, therefore
dispersing the mellay. Instead, Maggots got his chance. And yes...Ballas went crazy at Grey...Kinda like the pot calling the kettle....?

So the link Alvinppl put up shows the eye gouge which was the reason for the 50m penalty, and the retaliation which caused the decision reversal.
At least now the incident is clearer than the chortles offered by Fox.
What I am filthy about is the we lost the game because we got stooged; in that incident and by Reiwolt. Plain and simple dumb footy when the game was ours.
