Reiwoldt was only out there for the commentators to talk about his 900th mark. His schoolboy antics should have been ignored by the umpire instead 50 was given.


The melee was started by St Kilda, they were the ones who put 4 or 5 Freo players down, a 50 mt is awarded to Freo, Longer even put the boot into a Freo player on the ground, then for standing up to the push and shove, Freo have the kick reversed. That is a joke. Fair enough if some one had been king hit, but that was not the case.

Saw nothing to indicate a reversal for starters.

Second, from what I have seen so far resulting in kicks being reversed against us, there needs to be an upgrade in the level of infringement resulting in a reversal. The bandwidth of "Barely Soft to Petty" just don't cut it.

Third, given the reversal came after the fiddy, should it not have been taken from the point where the fiddy would've gone to?

Don't blame Brady Grey, he was not the one who ignored what happened to Suban. That is a copout worthy of Demetrio and Gillon. I would like to see a replay of Longers actions as he ran into the second restart of the melee as well, his boots seemed to be swinging recklessly.

I just dont know how the umps can reverse a kick when there has been not one but two incidents meaning Ballas was going to get a shot on the goal line???? Its a joke of an interpretation of a rule.
It wasnt the worst reversal of the weekend though.
Tom Bugg ended up with a free kick after knocking out Callum Mills - How does that make sense?
