His kicking was deplorable but what I did like was how genuinely disappointed he was with himself. After about the fourth which happened to result in a Freo goal, he stayed crouched on the boundary line while the others celebrated. So many others stuff up and show no reaction or effort to make amends. Good on him.

That happened right near us. Walters two goals in the fourth, when he was lining up Hill was cramping up and was down on the turf stretching.

It was some seriously poor kicking and happens too often from him when he's under little to no pressure. If he's the man on the outside delivering forward or running it out of defense then he has to be more consistent with his disposal.

I'd be curious to see how his kicking efficiency tracks over a game. My comment was made in the first quarter, when he seemed determined to kick the ball to the other team. That's happened a few times this season, and for the most part he seems to turn it around in the second half.

We know he can run all day. Maybe he needs a longer warm up?
