They only showed the reply once on the telecast, but a saints player roundhouse punched Suban in the jaw from behind who went down, should get a couple of weeks IF the MRP review it, that restarted the melee and somehow Margets finds them a free, should have been goal to balla followed by another free to Suban.

Similar to how Melbourne got the free kick after the Bugg punch.

After the Ballas reversal and the cheat Reiwolt 50m rom Logue's throw i am done with this sport. It is pointless watching it. They have totally ruined the sport. I'm now lost to it. Been a diehard member and supporter since day dot and still love the club but have totally fallen out of love with the sport.

What are the technicalities on the Sooky 50m penalty? Logue has the ball, and Sooky has his hands in the air asking for the ball. Logue throws it to him and Sooky steps back and lets the ball hit the ground. Is it standard practice to fool the opposition player like this? If so, why don't we all stand around going "Throw it to me", and hope that the bloke with the ball chooses the wrong player?

Technically speaking, if you wear purple and tried that stunt, you'd fail and be penalised by one-eyed umpires. You'd also be condemned by the Melbourne-centric media as absolutely-everything-that's-wrong-with-AFL. If you are fortunate enough to play for a Melbourne club, you're hailed by same Melbourne-centric media as "cheeky" or "clever", declared a "legend", and invited onto self-congratulatory Foxtel programs to talk about your sheer brilliance and inventiveness.
