So far I think we've got.....
i. Tired
ii. Umpires against us.....again.
iii. Wet conditions aren't good for our tired legs.
iv. Long road trip.
v. No Sandi
vi. 6 day break
vii. Did I mention that we're tired, so very tired.

I don't know if these count as excuses........no game plan, completely ineffectual forward line, the coach, can't tackle. woeful skills and just generally all round crapness.

After Round 2, I thought we wouldn't win a game for the season. I now realise that I was sucked in by "fool's gold" that saw those following seven weeks with six wins. Reality has set in again in the last three rounds.
So now, after Round 12, I'm back to thinking we won't win any more games this season. We are where we deserve to be on the ladder and can confidently expect to head south. No excuses, but just not in the right class just now.
It's time to get serious about the rebuild. It has worked well for Blakely, moderately well for Weller, jury still out on Tucker. Lets get AFL games into Darcy, Cox, Ryan.

It was just Brizzys day today.Zorko was brilliant in the first half.He allways gets his hands on the footy.But today he was deadly .

The coach doesn't run, tackle, kick and mark on the field. The players are cooked, which I stated in another post. We're at 6-6 after 12 games. We're not a top 8 side yet. This bye is a god send. From here on in I expect we should win 5 of the next 10 games because we'll be refreshed and the calvary are coming. We've blooded 4 debutants this year and perhaps another couple before the year is out. The troubled is we need to settle our team. Today's result was inevitable. I see more wins coming.
