Hughes unlucky I think. But glad that Ross is giving some young players like Ryan and Cox a go. Collins is also deserving a chance. Freo must test the list. Having said that players like Kersten must show more up forward. Must see real effort from the start because Brisbane have been given a chance by some pundits. Griff has to step up. Darcy on the cusp and I can't wait for him to get a go soon.

Hughes had a bad game last week but he looks like the kind of player that would bounce back quickly from a bad game. Surprised that he was dropped . Luke Ryan did not show enough on debut last week, in my opinion.

I think we're expecting to lose centre clearances and to have the play in our own defense for most of the game judging by the amount of defenders in the team including four on the interchange bench and one as emergency.
