It's not like we've got a lot of choice but we're not getting anywhere near enough from our key forwards, Tabener is back to his below par self and McCarthy and Kersten both average just over one goal per game. No wonder we rarely kick a decent score.

This is the first game ive watched for a couple of weeks. The last one was when Tabenar had his "breakout game / return " to football.
Cant say I'm all that impressed. Seems to be hanging back and not getting involved. As you say - " as per normal"

As for Mcarthy, I think the biggest worry is his set kicking. Drops the ball too far up and to the wrong side of kicking leg. 50% chance at best. Loves kicking them around the corner though. And I think hes at least "having a go"..

Maybe I'm missing something from up in 311 but it seems Collingwood have no requirement to even pretend to handball from congestion. They have the freedom to clearly scoop the ball out with 2 open hands. It's killing us

Theres stats out there about Tabenars contested marking. . The first 5 minutes of the last quarter display why those stats are absolutely meaningless....

Be nice if our much vaunted midfield could actually turn up for a game. We've been getting smacked there badly for weeks now and yet everybody gets stuck into the forwards.

Crap game plan, crap structures, crap delivery...blame Tabs. All the analysis of a house brick.

The blame starts with Roly and continues on through our rubbish attitude across the whole team

Agree Yeti that the forward line was too crowded again with little space to lead but you can't continuously drop easy marks which are often uncontested like he does. He'our biggest kpp and he brings so little physical presence. At least split open some packs if you can't mark the frigging thing.

I realise we're undergoing a 5-10 year rebuild but it would be nice to see some sort of structure developed in the forward line before the year is out rather than the current system which just seems to be telling everyone to go and stand in the way.
