I wasn’t bagging Dangerfield’s kicking to build up Fyfe (as if there’s any need to do that), I was bagging his kicking because I reckon he’s been a hack kick.
I’d also like to mention that when he had blinders for a while there at Adelaide they invariably lost, maybe because he was a selfish player, maybe there are other reasons (perhaps it doesn’t happen at Geelong so much because they have a long history of show ponies down there and know how to accommodate them better).
I’d also say given it’s barely been a half-year into his comeback (most knee recos, for example, can take a season to consistently reproduce your previous form), it’s way too early to reach for the catastrophe button. There’s plenty of other sensible explanations for why he hasn’t reached his 2015 form and power, other than him being irreparably and permanently hindered.
