Ouch. Just ouch.
I had a major sulk because I couldn't get anybody to cover my shift ( WA day is always a pain to cover) and thus had to front up to work when I had planned to be at Shark Park. Because I live on Marmion St it's a short walk there and slightly longer stagger back which is handy.
Mind you, the location brings its challenges like the desperate parking punters who park across your driveway which kinda curtails your movements for the day. Because the offending person knows where you live I grit my teeth and leave a polite but informative note on their windscreen instead of ramming their car which is what you feel like doing when you have plans and need to get somewhere in a hurry.
And the Soul Sandwich at the May St Larder is da bomb. Deep fried chicken, waffles, jalapeño chillies and maple syrup. Heaven. Unlike the last two days.
