If some have played a few too many games its because they have served so well for so long and have deserved that respect. Every year we turn over ¼ of our list. We need to see if Luke Ryan can come in and hold down half back to release Crozier forward. Unsure of his speed but if he uses the ball as well as reported then that should be enough. Logue needs to step up and take Ibbo's spot. Is it just me or is he a bit of a blunder machine at the moment? Then next year we pray that A Pearce can step up as Jonno bids us farewell.

I reckon footy has changed a bit. Now there is an argument that your best kicks should be in the back line and the best tacklers in the forward line.

Once upon a time on the half back flank it was easy to find plenty of the footy and as the ground opened up finding an open target was relatively easy.These days with the zone and everyone in a half of the field under pressure precision kicking in the back half is essential to avoid turnovers and finding plenty of the footy is not so easy. When it is your turn to execute the zone good tacklers are required in the forward half to pressure the ball carrier.

BTW i think I the colliwobbles forward line consists of 1 tall and 5 smalls. Might be a good week to load up on small defenders.

Some tall marking players across the centre transitioning from defence (60-70 metres off the play) would be handy and might evolve the game somewhat and ensure that there are even others further forward to take the ball.
