Dumb for sure, but two Crows players had him on the ground in a headlock. He was right to be steamed, but as soon as touched Crouch he dived like a soccer player.

If I had to rank the acts in order it scumbaggyness, it would go:

i. Two-on l-one headlock;
ii. Diving like a soccer player; then
iii. Glancing push to the face.

Haven't watched the replay, but my recollection was that Hawkins was the first to engage the Adelaide Players after one of them had tackled a Geelong player in a way that he didn't appreciate. Could be wrong but could have been Selwood.

Yes, it was the tackle on "untouchable" Selwood that Hawkins bought into, he copped a bit for his corner then decided on the punch. If my memory serves me correctly was it Hawkins who started the whole "jumper punch" in the first place? If so notwithstanding Cotchin's snipe, it is probably justice that he gets to be the first to do time. I hope they challenge and he gets 2 weeks.
