I reckon the cheap jumper punch to the face, if you were to do that to me, I would like the opportunity to punch you back in the face. Apparently two people e punching each other in the face is not a good look for the AFL, although I used to enjoy watching two physically strong fit athletes go at it. Truth is, that is no longer acceptable and one suspension will eliminate the action.
Should be introduced in next years pre-season with suspensions able to be served during pre-season if possible. With penalties not effecting Brownlow votes if accrued during pre-season. Once season starts suck it up and don't hit someone in the face and you won't have to worry about it

No, they all deserve time. This pathetic behaviour only came in when the video replay made sure that the puncher would not be on the receiving end of immediate and natural justice. Give them time and we wont have to put up with it, or failing that, give the punchee a couple of free hits. Just out of interest and pertinent to this discussion, How many times did P Read hit Dale Kickett from behind, or anywhere else after the Demo Derby???
