The problem with vague press releases is that it leaves the door open for muckraking journos to fill in the gaps by giving voice to innuendo about the real reasons for his absence, including thinly-veiled accusations of drug use and poor behaviour.

Luckily this HB is a white kid from suburban Melbourne, so they'll probably just let him be.

As predicted in an earlier post, some of us are falling into the trap of theorising as to why he needs a break. Just leave it alone and assume that he and the club are working in his best interest and that there are some things that are more important than footy. If he was my son I'd just want him to be happy and left alone.
