Larkin, you need to keep a count of your parenthesis's. (You forgot one at the end of your initial post))

They would be 'parentheses' RM. But I did notice too that one of your right brackets is missing a left bracket!

Still (that play by Sandi/Neale/Mundy) was impressive (and most would say bloody brilliant). Sandi had to get the ball down, spread the other players out of the way with his arms/body and shuffle the ball into a corridor; Neale had to grab it at speed go straight through Dusty and kick the ball cleanly into a grabable space; Mundy had to mark it and kick it (with half of Richmond dancing around like monkeys on acid and his persistently doubting sister snickering in the stands). All of that after the soul destroying knowledge that you've lost a five goal lead with only seconds left.

No doubters at all, it was bloody impressive (and one of our best moments ever).

All very well and true Polly but after checking the dictionary I was unable to find one of the words you used (grabable).

They ve been showing the other Mundy after the siren kick from two years ago against the poor old Tiggies and each time I see it, it just dumbfounds me the lack of awarenes of that Docker (maybe Suban?) that just runs right across in front of Mundy as he comes in to kick. Unbelievably dumb. It was so distracting.

Lucky hes with Solar Gain.

And yeah Maguire is totally biased and cant help himself but I believe he thinks hes totally fair. At least as Corporal said, he really celebrated that last kick, not like Lynchy who could be heard saying "oh no" as it went through. I reckon his excitement was genuine. Most likely as he just loves to see the Tigers have their hearts ripped out, again.

I love my club. Could you see the Other Mob pulling this off?

As much as we got that final centre clearance dead right, gotta agree with the panelists assessment in that some Richmond players did give us a bit of a helping hand as well..

Credit must be given to Neale for not not panicking and just blazing away, but putting it into where there is space in the forward line...according to him, he didn't even know Mundy was there, but he kicked it to that space and drew Mundy to the ball, which just screams of a highly intelligent football brain, one that can't be taught...

How good was Sandi's bump on Dusty, left him sprawled out on the turf as Lachie put on the after burners.

The sight of 5 Richmond players jumping around trying to distract Mundy was hilarious! And when the cameras panned out to show the stunned Richmond crowd - karma!

Pretty sure its not allowed to be mentioned here, but browsing 'Big Footy' Ninthmond forum this morning is hilarious. I sure hope we don't carry on like that .... Imagine sports-talk-radio in Melb!

One of the many problems Victorians have ( and I lived in the place for 10 years ) is that they are very much like your average American .......they are nice enough people but have nil awareness or appreciation of anything over the border. This impacts on the way the AFL umpires ( VFL ) interpret decisions right down to Eddie et al on how they commentate. As for Healy he constantly forgets that he has an interstate audience and slots back into bogun Victorian mode at every opportunity.

Richmond with 3 players (that I could see) in their forward line, and a loose man on the wing at that last bounce, were clearly going for percentage.
Of more concern was Sonny Walters wayward leap onto the pack of players celebrating, which missed the pack by a foot and a half.
Landed awkwardly on his dodgy ankle - I hope he's ok.
