So lets hope our team turns up this Sunday against Carlton and redeems itself from last year's effort.

For those that can recall and were at the game against the Blues last year that was the 2016 LOW point/when all hope evaporated as we were walloped by a team that were also struggling but made us look poor.

It was so sad to watch, mass despair in the crowd and unfortunately a few spot fights between spectators broke out at that game out of frustration. No one wants a repeat of that.

We los by 4 points. Freo 9.14 (68) lost Blues 10.22 (72). So we didn't get walloped. We had Fyfe and Pearce going down with broken legs. Griffin and Clarke shared ruck duties. Worse game form Clarke ever. Yoy know its a kick in the guts when Dale Thomas kicks 3 goals and Liam Jones 2 golas. But its 2017 now and Freo will be fielding a team capable of plaing top 4 footy with a further boost having big brother Hill into the side.

I think we can forget about percentage for a bit!

In any case, beat Carlton by any margin and we're in the 8. If I caught somebody I cared about after round 2 putting money on us being in the 8 after round 9, I'd have had them committed!
