After the pasting that has been handed out to those responsible for the drafting of Hll, Kersten, McCarthy & Hamilng, perhaps it might be time to give them a "little credit" for they appraisal of the Dockers' needs

It wasn't the ability of the players that was at the heart of the argument, it was the price and timing. The impact those players have had has been great but it doesn't change the argument.

Agree hooper on those 4 are good additions. However to be honest to take those 4 players is no brain surgery for a professional recruiter. I believe we all thought those players who were chosen by other clubs first were going to be respectable.
It is the draft betweeen 2011 to 2014 where our first round drafts chosen were poor.

Well next Sunday, SPS is going to find out why Freo didn't even try to get him in the draft. We could have but thought to give up pick 4 for 7 instead. Logue is going to be a 200+ player for Freo. As for our new boys who came from other clubs, you're fitting in very nicely, thank you.

i) blind freddy saw what the dockers needed 5 years ago.
ii) they never previously got the players they targeted. In the case of Cloke, thank krist for that.
iii) 2 of our top trades wanted to come here, real bad. Those deals were gift wrapped and handed on a plate.

They'll get some credit from me when they manage 1 or 2 of the same next year.
