But seriously - does anyone here know the state of play with Alex Pearce? Lucky we've got Hamling.

Hate seeing this kinda injury run for any player, but for a kid this young it's just devastating. With talls taking longer to develop and the Ape being out for so long, things not looking good for him, I feel gutted for the kid.

Nup. Sad for him, but it should be all over for him. I understand hanging on to Mora, I understand that Harley stays for a little while longer. Maybe I can understand keeping The Fro.
But other than being a big body,The Ape has shown nothing.
Draw a line under him, and spend time, effort and money on someone else.
We cant continue having 5 or 6 on the list permanently injured.
And need to start recruiting resilience.

Nobody ever said he's shown as much as Mora. He has had less of a chance than Mora, and as we all know, talls usually don't 'come good' until they've been in the system for a few years. Unfortunately for him he's jumped from one setback to another. I'm gutted for a young man who may be looking,at the end of his dream without even having a fair crack.
I'm not saying he could or will be a star player, or that we should give him more chances than Mora etc. The best thing for the club may indeed be to cut him loose - I don't know.
For him, as a young kid who has gone from one setback to another, I'm gutted.

He's under contract until the end of 2018. Plenty of time for a 22 year old with loads of untapped potential to get over the latest setback and show his worth.
Give the bloke a chance.

Instead of the official AFL-speak 'TBA', I suggest a scale:
NTN need to know
SNTK strictly need to know
SNTK(AYDNTK) strictly need to know (& you don't need to know)
YNGTK you're never going to know

No other club appears to have as many season ending or long term injuries as us.

Lucky it is only the season Walter, and not TGA or worse 3-4weeks. He will be breathing a sigh of relief.

A PCL is a 2-3 week injury in the NRL, and a 3-4 week injury in the AFL. It is not unusual for AFL players to have played most of their career missing a PCL; it is around 15% of your knee stability and usually compensated for by building up supported muscles around the knee. Rarely reconstructed, because the success rate is low. More going on here.

3-4 weeks you recon Blocker, Well that's him stuffed then being on our list. Poor Bloke. Wheel him off to Claremont then. They'll get him back on the park next year

Ok. It's a Reconstruction

Its roughly a 50% chance of being satisfactory, hopefully those odds are enhanced and not defrayed by the Docker's association
