Ibbo looked lost early, but as the pressure from Freo mounted up the ground, he came into his own. He capitalises on the mistakes made by opponents up the ground, which has always been his main asset. When the ball is coming in under little pressure like last week and this week early, his lack of height and pace get found out, when the game is on his terms he has a field day (like most players). One thing he doesn't lack is courage. Crozier, like Ibbo, plays above his height and weight in the same circumstances, and will get found out in the same circumstances, but I prefer both these players to Sheridan and Sutcliffe back there.
One point I would make on our first half is that had our goalkicking been more accurate, the Bombers would have been under pressure right from the start of the game, regardless of the turnovers we gave up. Goalkicking accuracy is my biggest concern at the moment.
