I did hear on the radio that one of the provisions of the new Collective Bargaining Agreement that is imminent is that WA-based teams will fly business class for all away games. I'm assuming that is to and from. How long before the Collingwoods of the world complain that they also need to fly business class for away games too?
Speaking of the CBA, it's rarely pointed out, but clearly this is one of the reason why players in the last year of their contract (e.g., Fyfe, McGovern at Adelaide) have put off discussions of their next contract; why should they sign on the dotted line before all the rules are settled?
