Tabener's development should now start to show some dividends. He'll now attract the third best defender and having that pressure taken off him, he should start to repay Roly's faith in him. If he can kick a couple of goals as well as giving Sandi a chop out in the ruck, he'll add value to the team. This has to be the year he excels.

While many don't rate us as finals contenders, by being 3-3 after round 6, I would have thought it was a nice position to be in.

i. They couldn't keep up, and
ii. it didn't matter

Tabs problem was never who was defending him, it was actually getting the mids to deliver it to him instead of Pav...or over his head...or at his ankles....

Its a pity we dont have both Hills playing this game as he might get better delivery but here's hoping we get on top in the middle and all three talls should have a pretty good day up forward. Now that CamMac is getting back into form we will have three marking forwards. If we use them properly, Essendon won't have an answer for all of them
