Do you get the feeling they've played up how much money they make from gambling advertising.
They've reluctantly agreed to not put on any gambling ads in the middle of sport played before 8:30 (which for east coast free to air stations predominantly means no gambling ads between bounce down and the half time break) in exchange for millions of dollars in license fees and a pathway to reduced competition.
At least the betting industry have safe guards in place to prevent that kind of event fixing.
