Wabbit47 you make an interesting point.
The departure of suma in achrimonius circumstances may point to a culture where you are isolated if you have different views.
I appreciate you need to pull together as disunity is bad , but a culture where views cannot be challenged is another thing.
It is only speculation by the way so not sure why suma left, but after being Ross's right hand man , it was a fall from grace.
Agree the changing of one or two players never solves anything considering so many of our players are bereft of kicking skills at the moment.
I come back to Ross's west Aussie interview 3 weeks ago where he said that skills is not something he has focused on in his time as a lead coach.
This needs to be challenged in today's new game style where players are expected to flip the ball on at all costs etc
I think Ross needs to review his core values and adapt. He is 50, and while that is not meant to be ageist , it may be an impediment to embrace change.
The board will need to be strong and should invite views at their level to challenge the football operations department.
It is not rocket science , recruit a balanced list ( not simply midfielders) , plan for the future - and be ruthless that no matter how well you finish the previous year , 2 players will be dropped for improvement.
