All of the correspondents to this topic have a common underlying theme;
How great it would be be to see Freo playing well, to see players take a fresh approach into games that excites the fans, and most of all, to see Freo win a flag!!
I would agree that Lyon does not give the younger blokes a go; and I am thinking here of Crozier and Collins. But looking through the list (and not considering injured players), other than Balic I can't agree that any or many are bashing the "select me" door down.
Last year, Yarran did, and it paid dividends when he was brought in.
I do hope the likes of Balic, Collins, do start bashing the door down; and others too. The sooner the better, and the Subans, Dawsons, Sutcliffes. Sheridans, Johnsons, (Danyle) Pearce- who has lost the ability to kick to a team-mate), and Clarkes who have had their try in the team, can be replaced.
The big but is, it is a pain in the butt waiting for all of this to come to be.
