How the hell are Z Dawson and N Suban in this squad!! and I agree Balic is a must pick to replace either fumble fingers D Pearce or C Sutcliffe!

For my mind Crozier, Balic and Collins should be the ins and Dawson, Suban and Pearce the outs!

Crozier has shown he's a skillful disposer of the ball off the halfback line and can move forward. Balic proved in the WAFL GF he is a find and can play midfield and up forward and well Sam Collins is just too good for ZacD its a no contest!

Seriously, why am I not surprised. Don't reward a player in the WAFL who gets over 30 disposals(Balicand is in the best on ground), but keep in guys who got about10-15 in the AFL(Suban, Tucker)who had no influence at all.

Pardon my ignorance (because I haven't really watched him play before), but what type of midfielder is Balic? Ie is he an inside mid or an outside runner? If it's the former, would him not being in the team be more a reflection of team balance, as we already have the likes of Fyfe, Neale etc?

Pretty fair inclusions. Balic will get his turn but may have to wait a few weeks. They haven't named the outs yet because it's a Sunday game but I expect Suban will miss out.

I'm gonna make a bold (obvious) prediction here: We will not win a game until all of Sutcliffe, Sheridan and Suban are out of the team. They are the past. They didn't work, other than Sutcliffe in 2013.

What the hell is Crozier doing in the WAFL and not on half-back after last year and especially when we need run and decent disposal out of defence?

Balic is a hard inside player with quick hands and football nous, he does not have exceptional leg speed and his kicking lacks penetration but he loves it in tight and will give you a strong contest (much like brady gray who is more a tackling machine and would be the first picked in my side)
Think he will get a game when we next play at home ie ease him in to it
Compare our 6 forwards to Ports for scoring power and you can see we are in for a long afternoon
I was at PT last week and Tabs did well but still dropped some easy marks but should play forward pocket and relief ruck as he offers more than Griff
Collins was very good and deserves a go and Hughes played the best game i have seen him play and beat Peake hands down
Keep an eye on traye bennell as smokey for next years draft (has pace and very good kick)
