We've got the cattle to win a flag, no doubt about it, however the same is true of most clubs. The secret is being able to pull it all together and get the most out of your players.
The intensity of the group in round 1 was up on last year, and dare I say it, there seemed to be some structures in place. The players certainly didn't seem out on their feet like they were 12 months ago.
The elephant in the room is the crappy skills and delivery to team mates, particularly when attacking. We've all seen it, year after year, right since we joined the big league, it's part of the club culture and you wouldn't call yourself a dockers supporter if in a moment of frustration, you hadn't volunteered yourself or an elderly relative to show them how to pass the bloody ball!
I don't know the magic solution, but it would be nice if someone in the club did.
