I'm starting to think he's injured his calf again , We were told to expect a return around week 4-5 of the season and now he's gone for scans .

The time line has changed even though there is nothing wrong ?

Ross now say's " Bennell's soreness was "certainly no big setback". Fremantle are aiming for him to return before the halfway point of the campaign.

On the old injury list he was 4-5 weeks away, on the latest injury list he is TBA

I hope I'm wrong but why else would have it changed.

pulled up sore from training after training really well last week.
I hate to think of this option but maybe we need to get our head around that he will miss the year.
That would be a two year calf injury...
Too many mixed messages that I really dont think they know.

So Bennell clearly is a Rolls Royce. If his latest soreness is due to the workload then that's very reasonable. If anyone here is into running, you'd understand. When you clocked a few kilometers every week, the legs are hammered. Bennell would be doing 40+ kilometers a week and at high intensity. Fair to say they're tuning this Rolls Royce to enter a race with confidence.

Bizkit, what do you think Roly would gain by misleading the members of Harley's progress. There's nothing sinister about he's current progress into playing games imminently. I've said this before, if they've loaded him up with the kilometers at high intensity, then trust me, you're going to get sore legs. Your constant doubting is getting a little boring.

Name me one coach / captain / player / board member / politician who does a media conference and a) doesn't speak in cliche and b) reveals totally everything about the club or their game plan or how someone is actually feeling. All 18 sides are a quality football team according to every single player interview...

Neale had 3 different surgeries over the preseason, none of the reasons were made public during the season and in all honestly they could quite easily have shipped him off for pre season surgery a lot sooner, but we might have been even more embarrassing on the field if he wasn't playing.

Clubs only want to reveal the bare minimum of information they can about an issue without letting the whole competition in on what is actually going on.
