This is a new team configuration. No one knew what anyone else was doing. Fumbles were bad. This will improve.
Geelong were over us in in height, weight and games played. To beat them, we need to be really switched on, as a team. We looked like an ok bunch of individual players. Player for player we aren't much different to the 2013 Prelim matchup. The big difference is McPharlap, which I see as a still gaping hole. Perhaps to a lesser extent Pav who, while he wasn't been kicking bags in the last couple of years, tended to soak up a couple of defenders. On the other hand, there is some emerging talent.
