If you have to whine about anything, safety concerns about the surface are exactly the thing you'd be better off whinging about rather than team performance. At least the collective noise has some chance of getting through for constructive change, whereas whining about the team's performance is more likely to hamper performance or just do your head in if it does anything at all.
