Same old washed up baby boomer heroes who've had half the city named after them, taking up all the real estate for future generations who couldn't give a stuff that some big bloke worked out handballing was a good trick or a bloke won one gold medal for the Phil Collins of track events. . There's no context for it.
The best thing the WACA does is the museum and the big pictures of the players around the outside of the ground.
What they should do is knock out the micro brewery and put in a museum of WA sport. Then they can provide context and tell stories rather than bunging up some ugly bronze things for people to stand under to send text messages.
