I think the freekick tally was 14 to 5. In the previous two games the freekicks were 17-10 and 20-16 in favour of the opposition, total 51-31, a slight bias towards the opposition (Ha Ha,etc). It was noticeable that the umps, in characteristic fashion, tried to even it up in the last quarter once the horse had bolted. It was 13-4 at three-quarter time in the last game, and in the last few minutes I must have seen at least three obvious holding-the-ball decisions ignored in the Giants' favour. Like you said, Shane, we were robbed.
What made it worse was that Ben Dixon went through the stats at three-quarter time and when he got to the freekicks said something like '13-4, nothing to look at there'. Why does that not surprise me?
I'm not into conspiracy theories, but it is kinda weird, its even worse than the men's team's freekick numbers, and stats don't lie.
