FREMANTLE forward Shane Yarran has been granted personal leave from the club following a new charge of unlawful wounding.
The alleged incident occurred in July 2015, before being drafted by the Dockers.
The 27-year-old made a brief court appearance on Tuesday in relation to a charge of aggravated common assault. Yarran intends to plead not guilty to the charge.
"We have accepted Shane’s request for personal leave, which will allow him to concentrate on his personal life and also focus on some off-field matters," Fremantle chief executive Steve Rosich said.
