I guess it comes down to how you perceive the Ruck/forward role. Freo in recent years have opted for our second best ruck who may give you a goal every second game (Clark Griff) others opt for a forward who can pinch hit in the ruck (Lobb, Wright, Jenkins)

Given that Sandi usually spends about 80% of his time on the ball, it seems strange we have gone with the second ruck option.

Sandi is only one injury off calling it a day. I hope he plays for 2-3 more years but we need a few back up plans.
I actually see Strnadica more as a Full Forward...
Darcy on the other hand is a 80% ruckman

It's been a second ruckman in that role PK because we haven't had any decent KPF's a part from Pav.

Drubbing just for the record our recruiter got sacked for taking him at 20 !!. Highly controversial, genius Harvey thought he was too skinny and wanted Ryan Bastinac , But our much maligned recruiter of the day was too recruit our best player to date , Thank you Mike .

Not that I would know about it, but I reckon that Hodor kid's bone density metrics was off the scale. I agree that a 'good' ruckman is much different today than it was 20 years ago, but when you're confronted by a Mummy (or a Man Mountain) without a means for escape the consequences can be ugly.
