At Freo we expect incompetence.
2016 will go down as Freo's worst year given the expectations we've had since the GF in 2013.
Broken legs, calf injuries and Sandi hospitalised didn't help the cause and nor did Ross taking a back seat during the last preseason.
The boys are now back on the track and so are the niggling injuries as well as some off field matters that will be sorted in time, but on the bright side the squad has been boosted with some very handy inclusions during the trade period and IMHO the recruiting has been pretty good - most other threads seem to agree.
Joke or no joke, 2017 is looking like Freo will be back in the mix. It'll be sad to see a Freo lineup without Pav but we will move on quickly onto our next generation of heroes and I'm guessing there will be some welcome surprises from some of our youngsters.
Bring it on and write Freo off at your own peril.
