Yes no doubt but every time he speaks he seems to say he wants to play in Melbourne

Maybe this article will make you feel better about him staying in Perth Pav353.

...speaking to Seven News on Sunday night, made a point of hosing down his previously-stated desire to wind up at a Melbourne club.

“I’m really looking forward to a new challenge in life, to go somewhere, whether it be home or interstate, is definitely something to look forward to.”
Nathan: When did you get balls?
Simon: I've always had balls you've just never seen them.
Nathan: That's the gayest thing I've ever heard.

It's going to be a tough choice for Brad Lloyd whether to get English or Logue with pick 7 (down to either 8 or 9 due to bidding) on one hand English is a much needed ruckmen especially with Sandi and Griffin only have 2 years maximum left plus Clarke only on a 1 year contract it would be a no brainer.

Griffin Louge is a much needed backmen especially with Johnno and Dawson only have 2 years maximum left in them plus he is a good ball user from the backline we don't have many good ball users in the backline it would also be a no brainer

If we're stretching for Logue or English at pick 7 then our trading team has stuffed up.

The exciting part of the 2016 draft for Freo is that picks 7, 35 and 40 in particular will remind us of the 2008 and 2009 picks where, those players have helped in getting us to a GF in 2013.

We're hanging perhaps too much on what pick 7 might look like. Picks 35 and 40 are the important ones IMO. If we pick up another Lachie Neale with 35 or 40, it'd be massive for the footy club.

I just hope that our recruiting department can bring home another Brownlow Medallist, because I reckon we've got another one on the horizon.

500% agree with you jezza normally with picks 35 and 40 you find gold nuggets in the last 10 years 2006 Josh J Kennedy Hawthorn/Sydney pick 40, 2011 Luke Parker Sydney pick 40, 2015 Marcus Adams pick 35 western bulldogs we also had a bit of luck around that area with Alex Pearce and Connor Blakeley plus it's a deep draft this year I'm not that fussed about pick 7 we are more than likely to get a future gun no matter what happens

I dont think I can remember a better draft period for the club......to gain the quality players we have and still have a chance at English et al is a huge win for the purple army! Lots to look forward to!

I can't remember the last time we're going into a season with potentially 6-8 new recruits that could be fronting up for Rd 1. Here's my reckoning : Bennell (Half Fwd), McCarthy ( CHF), B. Hill (Wing), Hamling ( FB), A. Perace (back from long injury, CHB), Harley Balic (Bench), and of course the biggest recruit of all, Fyfe.

Clearly if the injury card don't raise its ugly head and the likes of Yarran and MJ gets a slight reprimand for their misdemeanours, we'll go into Rd.1 against the Cats, very confident.

That's right Jezza, top 10 picks are guaranteed jets, finding the diamonds from pick 25 on is where the recruiters prove their worth.

We still need a small backman in the vein of Neville Jetta. Neville that is, not Lewis. Someone that can mop up and hit a target. I think Sandi has longer left in him than the footy world thinks so to me rucking is less of a problem. Although if he goes down again our back up plan is Clarke...

Yeah, we could rookie list DeBoer as cover for our ruckman if we are really worried, go for another midfielder I reckon.
