I have deep sympathy for the Essendon faithful who have nothing to do with this and ultimately will end up bailing them out with their hard earned dollars. They are just a big bunch of loyal supporters like us, and they have all been dragged into the mud by the greedy few. I really feel for their pain

I still remember our first final when Roger Hayden ran into our forward 50 and Dustin Fletcher wasn't in a position to tackle so he punched him in the throat. No sympathy for the supporters - they should have been bashing down the door at Windy Hill telling the club to do the right thing over the drug scandal. Instead they were moaning right from the beginning.

You need to remember RR, it was proved at the tribunal on many occasions that Dustin is very uncoordinated, and he didn't punch Roger in the throat, he attempted to tackle him around the waist. The "Good Bloke" defense kicked in and the rest is history.
