Very happy.

When the draw is inevitably analysed to within an inch of its life, I think the general consensus will be that Freo has one of the best draws. Playing GWS and Bulldogs only once each is a massive bonus.

The Doggies will be having nightmares coming over here in Rd 3 to play Freo. We beat them with a very under strength side and I don't care what others were saying, they didn't throw the game.

A very good draw. It would have been nicer if the Len Hall game was closer to Anzac Day but I guess they wanted a night game.

As mentioned, no trips to Tassie or NT, and only one trip to Qld. Two trips each to Sydney and Adelaide is tolerable and 2 winnable games on the MCG is good.

But no Friday night footy, the Bulldogs and GWS have stolen our spots!

Freo's odds of winning the premiership is now at $17. Two weeks ago, it was at $51. After the trade $25, after the draw $17. After preseason, $$? To make the 8, we're at $2.35. We play the budgies twice, Rich and Roos twice. I see 6 wins right there and I haven't taken into account the fact that we've got less 6 day breaks and no trips to Tassie and Darwin. Surely, they know we're coming.

Very good fixture for the team. I personally hate going to Thursday and Friday night games, so thats a win too! Disappointing to see there is none of my favourite mid arvo Saturday games and too many lame mid arvo Sunday games.

A few things - Why have we got the second derby again? It usually rotates.
Hopefully that means we get a home Derby for Round 1 at the new stadium??

Len Hall game will not be 22 April.
AFL will not allow you to celebrate ANZAC day with bugler, marching etc 4 days before the big game at the G - surely.
Does this means the away derby on April 29 will be the ANZAC Game with no Len Hall game this year??

Best draw we've had in years. Finishing 16th is awesome. A cunning plan on the club's part.

I've run the Mood Indigo predictor thingy and it tells me 19 wins, one draw and two losses. We knock GWS out in a home prelim, then trounce Geelong in the GF. Stephen Hill wins Norm Smith. McCarthy a close second in Coleman. Fyfe wins second Brownlow. Mick Barlow comes third, having dominated in the midfield for the Crows. Adelaide guernsey also proves more flattering re the Barlow Gap. Weather in Melbourne on GF day: showers clearing, 19 degrees.
