If Barlows injury keeps him out till mid season next year or if there is a real risk that it may not fully recover do we still keep him.
I am no expert but it seems that shoulders seem to recur once initially injured and take a while to recover from.

If Nat Fyfe was 28 without a Brownlow, ran a bit slower and was little less powerful.
Don't get me wrong I like Barlow and think we should keep him but that shoulder looked bad to me. I would rather see him get a game than Sheridan who I don't see the same ability in as Barlow but he is younger. I can only assume that D Pearce was willing to sign for a very low salary.

Word of advice to Barlow. If you can't get the jumper problem sorted out, don't run backwards towards the ball. The Gold Coast players will thinking it's Gary Ablett making a lead and kick the ball into your back.

Fantastic news for Mick and great news for Gold Coast too, always thought he'd be a great fit there, which is why you'd think it didn't make sense when they said he didn't really fit into their plans, if you didn't think they just wanted to pick him up for nix.

So there's every chance the Suns will have both Barlow and Petrevski-Seton on their books. Gee if they bring in Silvagni as well Biz might have his allegiances severely questioned.

Mickey D was a great servant for the club, but like others before him, Freo will be better for it. He's not in Freo's best 25 as it stands and while there's a role for him at the Suns, unfortunately not in purple. Perhaps he was offered a one year deal but wanted more.

It's interesting that a much younger side with more talent can find a spot for Mickey but we can't. All the best Mickey, I'll be cheering your return to Perth in Rd 20 and hopefully nabbing you in the DuFFLe!
