One thing that concerns me is the special coach parking. It seems like it's a long way from the stadium and I'm not sure Ross Lyon is fit enough to walk that far on a regular basis.

What about speed boats from the stadium to Elizabeth Quay?
They could leave every 3 minutes and be back in 5.

I'm going on Shane's boat...eventually.

You will have valet parking on this boat of yours, won't you, Shane?

For those who prefer to park on a boat, first park in the CBD then catch a shuttle bus to the boat. Then, ride the boat to Fremantle where you can catch a shuttle bus to the train station.

Morgan, nowhere in that presentation do I see an option to move 55,000 people efficiently at 3/4 time every second week.

Thoughts...

i Not many people going to the footy.
ii That girl with Fyfe must me tall.
iii Glad I don't live anywhere on the Mandurah or Midland line.
iv Lack of escalators makes it hard with my dicky knees.

Geez, you are a miserable lot. I think the whole thing looks awesome. Catch a train to the football, get off, watch football, leave football, catch train home. Not so hard. If there are 60000 people there every week, Ill eat my hat. 30-40K tops (once the initial euphoria has died down). You say that Subiaco breaks all the rules of moving large amounts of people, but I catch the train there every 2nd week (Joondalup Line) and its take a total of about 15-20 mins to leave the game and get on a train. Change trains in Perth and then go home. No big deal. This will be even better as I don't even have to change trains to get to the footy.

Its bicycle for me, and I don't need special parking - just a pole to lock it to. I hope the WA government explains to the AFL how we have to win every game in 2018 so that they can get bums on seats and not go broke.

The bike poles are located in East Perth, you can catch a shuttle bus...

Did they cut out the options for the return trip?

"While waiting for the crowd to dispurse after the game, why don't you join other happy go lucky punters at our friend James Packer's 'entertainment hub'. It will provide shelter from the rain before you enjoy the walk+bus+taxi+drive home. The 'entertainment hub' will even give you a chance to win some money to offset higher seating prices and the inevitable parking fine. The hub is kid friendly because it understands that if we invest in our kids now, it pays dividends in the future.
Visit the hub, it's your way of saying thank you to Mr Packer and Mr Barnett for allowing the stadium location secure their futures for years to come"

Just park n ride from Vic Park station. Heaps of parking now at what was Lathlain Oval after The Slime bulldozed everything (including trees). I am sure they won't mind a few burnouts when you leave either.
