Ok Im going slightly early but Im confident. I think this team can win 23 straight.

Backs: Crozier, DAWSON, Weller
Half Backs: Langdon, SYLVAGNI, Johnson
Centre: S Hill, NEALE, B Hill
Half Forwards: Tabs, FYFE, Bennell
Forwards: Yarran, McCARTHY, Walters
Ruck: Sandi, Blakely, Mundy.

I would hope by next year APearce and Collins are getting a gig before Dawson. Our midfield is only elite with Bennell and Fyfe in it, not when they are placed in the forward line. Kersten will be added by the sounds of it.

Ive been as sceptical as anyone on the Fist but those last three or four games for Collo proved, I think anyway, that at just this minute Dawson is better. As useless as he is, he doesnt often get multiple bags of goals scored on him. As time goes on, Collins should be a direct swap for Dawson.

Alex Pearce, coming off a broken leg, for all his potential, is not going to play as well as a fresh AA Johnson or indeed Sos in his current form. I suspect Alex will come in for Johnno or Sos if (when) they get injured or in Sos` case reported.
In the Bulldogs game (which we won!) Sos and The Fist were great and probably we looked as good as we had for a long time back there.

What I will say is that team out there today was pretty much our best team.
I would drop Sutcliffe, Dawson and Tucker and bring in Bennell, Alex Pearce and Balic, when they are ready, but other than that, todays team is probably as strong as it gets.
I think Langdon holds his spot over Suban.
Maybe Tabs comes in for Kersten if he can learn to mark down at Peel.

I thought they played way better today, not only that Im hoping the repeated attempts to go through the corridor and the handball out of congestion werent just abberations but actual change in strategy. Brad Hills footy smarts and correct options reeked of superior coaching.
I think they can win more than 4 games this year.
