Subi are a very good side and it took a big effort from Peel to win. Great experience for our next generation of Freo players and no doubt a positive finish to the season for the Freo listed players, and in particular those guys who may not be on our list in the future.

Oh, and Subi fans can whinge with the best.

I hope Roly was back from his Fox commentary duties to see Sylvanni absolutely dominate his position today.
Yes Yarran looked a class above but so did Scos. Was unbeaten in every contest.
Langdon in my starting 18 for next year ahead of Sutcliffe and Sheridan.

What was quite noticeable was each time a Peel/Freo player took a mark backward of centre their first instinct was to slowly go back from the mark and then look sideways. This may have been because of Subi's excellent zone set up but more likely is because of the new Hawthorn 2.0 game plan drilled into them last summer. I sincerely hope they change that over the coming pre-season.

For me the worst bit was Peel kept Subi in the game by missing the unmissable kicks - shades of 2013 GF

Peel should have had it won in the first 10mins of the game but that woeful accuracy in front of goal !!!

I was at the game too, LS, and really enjoyed it. I thought Peel never really looked like losing. But as for kicking a winning score in the first 10 minutes (true), can you imagine the hullabaloo if Peel had smashed Subiaco so easily?
