Something that hasn't been discussed with regard to the new stadium that I'm interested in is whether the coach's box will have the old style classic telephone or one of the newer styles of phone that have been used for the last 25 years.

Where do they even get those old handsets from?

Did you see the phone that Beveridge was using in the coaches box yesterday? It was held together with yellow tape. Wonder who last used it? Threw it down in rage?

That tape was what got me thinking. It's like someone at the AFL purchased a box of ex-Telecom stock in the mid 80's and are fitting the new stadiums out with these old phones to save money.

We'll whack some tape around that one and it'll be good as new.

Malthouse, ever the trend setter, moved on a long time ago, favouring the NFL headset.

No, keep up boys with the latest. All coaches will be now given a remote controlled drone loaded with camera, microphone and nuclear war head. Any problems with communication will be overcome with one strike. Also included is a whistle seeking missile for umpires. Any bad decisions ...wack. Oh would that be fun!! (Dream on.)

wifi is too easy to hack but the Subi coach needs some schooling on angles. He would put his hand near his mouth to shield his lips from readers but we could still see what he was saying.
