If I've read the news correctly, getting the WAFL in line with the VFL would require an AFL listed player to play six games in the WAFL team in order to qualify for WAFL finals appearance. That is clearly radically different from WA where we require five games!
The not-so-subtle difference being that each Melbourne-based team has an alignment team in the VFL so the unfairness issue doesn't get raised.
Good luck to Peel tomorrow. Subi has lived off the benefit of its Social Club for long enough.
.... and apart from all that the Sharks are out of it.
.... and (thank God and Peel) so are the Bulldogs.
